It’s turning out to be a windfall for these men. First the SpiceJet story got a lot spicier in December when Ratan Tata came on board picking up over seven per cent stake in the low cost airline.
NDTV has learnt that the Tatas have begun talking to the SpiceJet promoters to hike their stake further in stages.
Tatas want more stake
The Tatas want to hike their stake to 14.9 per cent ultimately. However, they may up their stake to 11 per cent at first by paying Rs 50 crore for the additional four percent stake.
